Rockstar
ROCKSTAR (Imp)
Sire: Real Diamond by Rohdiamant
Dam:
Florida by Florestan 1
Stud Fee:
$1800 (+ $200 booking fee)

Introducing Rockstar, a young stallion ready to make his mark on Australasian breeding.

Rockstar’s impeccable conformation and movement were noted at his 4 th ever show, Dressage With the Stars 2009, where he received the highest mark in the class for his confirmation and also received the highest mark for all 4, 5, and 6 year olds in the first round for his trot! More recently he took out the Queensland Young Horse Championships with a score of 8.2 from Olympic Judge, Mrs Mary Seefried. Rockstar has been campaigned by a young rider at all his shows and has been a delight to handle and show in spite of the atmosphere and his relative inexperience for a horse of his age.

Shortly after Rockstar’s arrival from Germany in March 2008 we inseminated two mares with his semen and the two foals are pictures of their father. Short coupled, with elegant big fronts, small dishy faces and both foals display the swing and the tact that their father has inherited from his forefathers.

Rockstar has all the makings of a Grand Prix horse coupled with the gene pool of a dressage superstar.

Finch Farm Caballero Z
FINCH FARM CABALLERO Z
Sire: Cor d’Alme I Z
Dam: Mare by Ego Gallus
Stud Fee: $2000 incl. GST

Dark Brown 16.3hh 2002 Reg. ACE.

Charles is the only son of Cor d’Alme I Z in Australia and combines the pedigrees of Cor de la Bryere, Ramiro Z and Alme Z. These jumping lines are now being recognized in Europe for their ability to produce not only great jumpers, but superior dressage horses as well.

Whilst Charles’ wonderful jumping technique has been recognized in the showjumping arena with David Finch for some time, he is new to dressage. However, under Nicole Magoffin, he has taken to it brilliantly showing three correct, elastic and athletic paces, fabulous natural rhythm and a trainability that makes him an absolute joy to work with. Charles’ dressage future is looking very exciting indeed!

His temperament, both on the ground and under saddle, is faultless, making him a real gentleman to deal with and a pleasure to be around, especially as he is almost exclusively handled by women.

Charles’ first babies are now under saddle and are showing all of their father’s best traits, and are stamped with the same type, temperament and elasticity of paces.
